Artist from Japan and her experiences in moving to New York

It’s already been over a month since I arrived in the UK and to this new life. Time seems to be moving at an incredible pace and I feel a strong need to collect all of the anecdotes, keep track of my days, and not let anything slide. Of course, always easier said than done.

At the beginning of this year, I was excited to be approached by Brooklyn Roasting Company for a collaboration at their shop in Japan.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be showing at one of my favorite places in Osaka, Brooklyn Roasting Company.

How did that happen?

...was what I whispered to myself on my way back to Japan after my first solo trip to Singapore.

Every morning I wake up with the sun beaming in from over the mountains, peeking through between laundry that I forgot to take in the night before.

On Saturday I was sitting in a cafe’ in Tokyo, looking out the door watching the first snowfall of the year.
